Abstract PDF: Purpose
This study aimed to develop and test a structural equation model on health status of delivery workers. The conceptual model was based on the theory of salutogenesis.
Methods
Data were collected from 262 delivery workers working in D and K cities from August 2 to August 27, 2021. The structural equation model was used to assess the relationships among the variables. The model comprised three exogenous variables (working environment, social support, health promotion activities) and two endogenous variables (sense of coherence, health status). The data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 22.0.
Results
The hypothetical model showed a good fit to the data: χ²/df=2.38, TLI=.91, CFI=.93, SRMR=.08, RMSEA=.07. Out of 10 research hypotheses, 10 were supported, and explained 62.3% of the variance in the health status of delivery workers. The model confirmed that sense of coherence was the most important factor. Health status is directly affected by working environment, social support, and health promotion activities. Health status is indirectly affected by working environment, social support, and health promotion activities through mediation of sense of coherence.
Conclusion
The theory of salutogenesis is adequate to use for developing health promotion programs for delivery workers. There is a need to develop a customized program to increase health status of delivery workers by enhancing sense of coherence.

Purpose
The study was conducted to identify the relationship between subjective family class and suicidal ideation and to determine the double mediating effect of social support and sense of coherence on their relationship.
Methods
Secondary analysis of data from 2015 Korean Psycho-social Anxiety which was a population-based representative was performed. Double mediating effects of social support and sense of coherence on suicidal ideation were analyzed using the PROCESS macro (model 6) with bootstrapping methods.
Results
Subjective family class directly influenced social support (β=.20, p<.001) and sense of coherence (β=.10, p<.001). Subjective family class directly influenced suicide ideation (β=-.08, p<.001). Sense of coherence was directly influenced by social support (β=.28, p<.001). Suicide ideation was indirectly influenced by subjective family class through social support (β=-.22, p<.001) and sense of coherence (β=-.36, p=.001). The size of direct effect of subjective family class on suicide ideation was 0.24 and the total size of indirect effect was 0.12.
Conclusion
Intervention to improve social support and sense of coherence is needed to prevent the suicide among adolescents.

Purpose
The purpose of this study was to construct a model that describes the health related quality of life in working women with preschool children and to verify the goodness of fitness of the model.
Methods
The data were collected with a structured self-report questionnaire from 483 working women with preschool children.
Results
The modified model showed a reasonable fitness to the data. Social support, job satisfaction, parenting stress, sense of coherence and depression accounted for 78% of the health related quality of life in working women with preschool children.
Conclusion
This study suggests that the health related quality of life in working women with preschool children can be improved by reducing parenting stress and depression level, and by increasing social support, job satisfaction, and sense of coherence. Depression can also be managed by reducing parenting stress and by increasing job satisfaction and sense of coherence. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop intervention programs to increase the health related quality of life or to decrease depression in working women.

PURPOSE
This study is to grasp factors influencing the quality of life in older adults after total knee replacement.
METHODS
This study was conducted with 165 older adults who had TKR at four orthopedic hospitals in D city. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, independent t-test, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple linear regression with SPSS 19.0 software.
RESULTS
Pain and depression were negatively correlated with range of motion, social support, while sense of coherence was positively correlated with quality of life. Sense of coherence (43%, Î²=.40), pain (8%, Î²=âˆ’.30), and depression (3%, Î²=âˆ’.20) on the Physical Component Summary in the quality of life have significant explanatory power of 54%. Sense of coherence (49%, Î²=.44), social support (6%, Î²=.25), and depression (3%, Î²=âˆ’.22) on the Mental Component Summary in the quality of life have significant explanatory power of 58%.
CONCLUSION
This study suggests developing a program to improve the quality of life in older adults who had TKR, considering factors such as sense of coherence.
